The Tp engine

The engine was built by MaK Kiel engine works in Germany and delivered to SJ in 1953-54 to be at work on SJ narrow gauge (891 mm) lines it continued to do so until 1986-87 when the last narrow gauge line in public service was shut down.The engines are now own by railway entusiast's and museeum's but they are still operativeThis picture shot by the author at Gräfsnäs station in Aug-99
