Dinny became Best in Show
on SSRK to Hazel Hinks
Yes, that was how it started……………………………..
I had for a long time wish me an American cocker
An ascob. My parents had an American cocker from
Carina Widin, kennel Nicknames, so I called her.
And she was just in case to planed puppies
with Beringens James Gold. And then Dinny was born.
Dinny was supposed to be a "familydog", but with persuasion
from
a good friend of mine, I showed him 4mounths old. And won.
With an incredible "back up" from Carina Widin, his
career started. Just 15 months old, (at these time, it was
open class) he took his 3 tickets in 3 weeks , to
the judges I-M. Hagelin, A.Puumala och J.Forsythe.
And through the following years he competed with success.
In only one year-89, he took 7 BIR, 1 BIM 1xBIS-2
1xBIS-4 and 4xBEST IN SHOW-1. Everyone at SKK
and SSRK:s shows. As veteran he continued to
prove his high quality, when he stayed at the top
with several BEST IN SHOWS. And he also finished his
showcareer 9 years old, by winning BIR, BIR Veteran,
BEST IN SHOW Veteran and also BEST IN SHOW-1,
at SSRK in Gothenburg
But when he was 13,5 years old, he wanted to come with us
when we were going to show his daughters.
And then we decided to show him once again. I couldn´t believe
that a dog could be so happy as he was, to go to show.
He, who always was a quiet and a nice dog, barked and jumped
until he entered the showring. Then he was himself again
And I promise you, I had a young dog in the leach.
And the results??????????
BIR ,BIG-3, BIR VET. And BEST IN SHOW VETERAN.
And Dinny was satisfied when he layed in the backseat
on his way home, with all his prices. And we couldn´t see
any sign of his age. To have owned a dog like Dinny, has been
an honour
to me and I am very greatful to Carina Widin.
Dinnys showcareer is although just a little bit of all the joy
he gave us during his life
Private he gave us most, though he was a big dog in a little body,
he was beautyful, intelligent, healthy, sound and just lovely.
His temperament was wonderful and he was a good character for
his children
and their children. Thanks to Dinny we can continue our high quality
breeding.
His offsprings are beautyful , healthy and lovely dogs. And he
is behind all the
dogs we have in our breeding today . His children
and grandchildren has proved that they can follow his footsteps.
And we have just one thing to say…
